Kietz,man returned to California to become director of U.S. operations for Wycliffe Bible Translators where, among other accomplishments, he founded the Wycliffe Associates program. He also served as a professor and student Dean for William Carey International University at the U.S. Center for World Missions. A University located in Altadena, CA is named after Dale Kietzman..

Dr. Dale and a native TOTONAC INDIAN named Manuel Arenas founded the Totonac Cultural Center in La Union, Puebla, MX, a bible school where hundreds of young Totonacs received an excellent Christian education and returned back to their communities as leaders and pastors. Cameron Townsend of Wycliffe Bible Translators used the Totonac Cultural Center as a showcase of the indigenous principle whereby you best reach a people group of a foreign language by discipling members of their tribe and teaching them to evangelize and disciple their own people. One bright young student's name was Felipe Ramos who grew to become Director of the Center after receiving seminary training in Puebla.
